If you are receiving a 401 error when trying to use a Bookmark (Chrome) or Favorite (Edge and IE), you'll need to edit the URL.

As we rapidly deploy improved security to login features, the full login URL path may change with a new release. If you go to a favorite that includes that bookmark/favorite and that login web page no longer exists you'll receive a 401 unauthorized error. It's always best to use the main URL as the bookmark/favorite. While you can search on how to edit the URL, we have provided steps below:

Google Chrome

Click on the kabob icon, select the Bookmarks option, then select Bookmark manager.

Look for your saved bookmark and click on the kabob icon to the right.

Choose Edit.

Remove everything after your instance ending (after the word "illustrations" in example below), and then click Save.

Confirm the bookmark now reflects only the main page as the URL.

Microsoft Edge

Click on the kabob icon and choose Favorites.

Find the Favorite in the list. When you hover over it, the URL will display.

Right-click on the Favorite and choose Edit URL.

Delete everything after your instance ending (after the word "illustrations" in example below), and then hit ENTER on your keyboard.

NOTE: There may be a bug in Microsoft Edge where you will not be able to edit an exiting favorite. If so, you'll need to delete the bookmark, go directly to your main page URL and before logging in, Add as a favorite. This may need to be repeated with every new release.

Internet Explorer

From the toolbar click on the Favorites menu, then choose the URL from this menu, or go into the appropriate folder(s) (Favorites Bar, then PMAPS folder in example below):
Once you find the Favorite, right click on it and choose Properties.

Remove everything after your instance ending (after the word "illustrations" in example below), and then click Apply. Then, click OK.
