Administrators can control user permissions, viewing restrictions and file type permissions from this control panel.

1.   From the main menu, click Configuration.



2.   From the secondary menu, click Permissions / Restrictions.



Permissions

Hover over the User or Group (row) to highlight

  • Groups



Hover over the icon to display the affected permission.



  • A solid circle indicates the permission is enabled.



  • An empty circle indicates the permission is disabled.


Add Documents


This permission allows users to add new content records. Once you enable this permission, assign File Type Permissions next.

1.   For the desired user or group, click on the radio button under the Add Documents column.



2.   Under the File Type Permissions column, click the edit button for the same user or group.



3.   Click on the radio button under the Add column for the types of content records the user/group can add.



4.         Click the Close button.



Add Proposals


This permission allows users to add new proposals.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Add Proposals column.



Assembly Ctr Admin

This permission allows users to add and edit assembly center templates.

1.   Click on the radio button the Assembly Ctr Admin column.



Attribute Admin

This permission allows users to manage all Content and Proposal field attributes (field label, field description, options, settings, and picklists).

1.   Click on the radio button under the Attribute Admin column.



Basic Editing


This permission allows users to use the RocketDocs Viewer. For any read-only or preview-only user, leave this radio button disabled.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Basic Editing column.



Build Sales Docs


This permission allows users to add new and edit existing sales docs templates (forms).

1.   Click on the radio button under the Build Sales Docs column.



Compliance Central Admin


This permission allows users to access and manage compliance central for all users.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Compliance Central Admin column.



Custom Report Admin


This permission allows users to view, create, and edit all custom reports.

1.   Click on the icon under the Custom Report Admin column to display a solid circle.



Delete Documents


This permission allows users to delete existing Content records, Users with this permission can delete any Content search record File Type in their search results tab. Deleted content records cannot be recovered.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Delete Documents column.



Delete Proposals

This permission allows users to delete existing proposals.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Delete Proposals column.



Edit Documents

This permission allows users to edit existing content records. Once you enable this permission, assign File Type Permissions next.

1.   For the desired user or group, click on the radio button under the Add Documents column.



2.   Under the File Type Permissions column, click the clipboard icon for the same user or group.



3.   Click on the radio button under the Edit column for the types of content records the user/group can edit.



4.   Click the Close icon.



Edit Proposals

This permission allows users to edit (work on) existing proposals from the Proposals page.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Edit Proposals column.



Fill Out Sales Docs


This permission allows users to create sales docs from the Proposals page and/or mobile interface.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Fill Out Sales Docs column.




Multiple Doc Download


This permission allows users to download and/or checkout Content search records for offline editing.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Multiple Doc Download column.



Multiple Doc Upload


This permission allows users to upload checked out documents.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Multiple Doc Upload column.



Multiple Global Attributes


This permission allows users to make global changes to Proposals and Content record attributes.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Multiple Global Attributes column.



Run Verify Process


This permission allows users to process multiple documents using compliance central.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Run Verify Process column.



Sales Docs In Word


This permission allows users to output generated sales docs to Microsoft Word format. Users without this permission enabled will only be able to output to PDF.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Sales Docs In Word column.



Unlock Proposals


This permission allows users to unlock Proposals that have been checked out.

1.   Click on the radio button under the Unlock Proposals column.
